On the pictures below you can see the difference between how the children arrived in the home on December 2007 and pictures from July 2015. You will notice the vast difference and the impart the home has made in the lives of these children.


APPEAL: we need support to

* Educate the children 
* Expand our Library or Study Room also for the Community  
*  Build a Dormitory for resettled children who do not have family care.

18,240,000. This is the total number of orphans in West Africa, which represents up to 10.64% of the population under 18 years old in the region, according to UNICEF’s 2012 report. Moving from Volunteering in Orphanages to Community-based Care zoom For many years Projects Abroad has worked closely with orphanages and other residential care centers to help provide better care and support to vulnerable children. Our volunteers have made a significant impact by improving living conditions at these orphanages and creating opportunities for children through supporting their education and care. However, placing children in orphanages and residential homes should be the last resort for any child.
